Empowering YOU to create songs with an eternal shelf life.

Influence Music is proud to host Songwriting Masterclass in Anaheim Hills, CA at Influence Church on January 20, 2024! This is a one day in-person Christian songwriting intensive meant to take your songwriting and musicianship to the next level.

Students will be poured into by best-in-class songwriters including 2023 Dove Award Songwriter of the Year, Jeff Pardo (Anna Wilson, Matthew West, Tauren Wells); Benji Cowart (Maverick City, Big Daddy Weave, Terrian), and Centricity Recording Artist' Patrick Mayberry (“Holy Spirit Come”).

Students will break off into groups of 3-4 and have hands-on training by our “song coaches” and empowered with tools to carry for the rest of their writing careers.

To ensure a superb small group experience we are limiting the capacity for this event to 45 people.

    A native of Chicago and graduate of Belmont University, Jeff Pardo has been a part of the Nashville music community since 2000 as a touring musician, Grammy® nominated songwriter, and producer.

  • Private Lesson Song-Workshop: $150

    Bring in a song that you have been working on and get professional feedback and direction to refine it. These private lessons will take place either:

    • Friday 1/19 between 1PM - 4PM OR

    • Sunday 1/21 between 12PM-3PM.

    You are guaranteed to get coached by one of your top 3 choices!


FAQs

  • Not at all! SWMC is designed for all experience levels. Our comprehensive questionnaire will help us put you in a group of a similar skill level. Your coach will also be briefed on who you are and your background so that they can properly train you.

  • We will be providing lunch and snacks! Breakfast and Dinner are on you (we will give you a list of recommendations the day of).

  • The writers round is a chance for all the coaches to listen to your song (you can play it live or play a recording), and you will get constructive criticism + feedback. We will only have time for 6-7 songs which is why it is a submission process. To submit for this writers round be sure add a link on your registration form.

  • Unfortunately we are not able to refund your ticket, we can however make it transferable to another creative. Make sure to email music@influencechurch.org with any changes.

  • Yes! If you are coming from a church outside of Influence Church with a group of 4+, each ticket is $150.

  • AYRES HOTEL in Yorba Linda is our partnered hotel.
